I'm Aretha Powe (pronounced Poe) owner and operator of Taylor Peace Photography. Taylor Peace Photography is a combination of my maternal grandfather's last name and my grandmother's maiden name. The business name was created to honor the two beautiful souls who influenced my life greatly!
I grew up in a small, rural community in North Carolina. I currently reside in Wake Forest, NC with my husband and daughter. I love spending my free time with the two of them. I love the beach, Coke, The Office, BritBox, Acorn TV and YouTube. I am a graduate of North Carolina Central University.
I've always been fascinated with photographs! I love black and white photos, they are classic and timeless. I remember spending weekends at my grandparents home looking at old photos, curious and fascinated about the people and events captured in the photos.
A wedding day is one of many important events in your life. Your photographs should reflect the intimate connection between you, your future spouse, your family and friends. I am a casual, relaxed wedding photographer. My goal is to blend into the background and capture your wedding day as it unfolds.
